Luke Tryl is UK Director at More in Common, a research organisation dedicated to tackling polarisation and breaking down the barriers to understanding what the public think. More in Common’s segmentation of the British population has formed the basis of a series of insights into where the UK public stand on some of the major challenges our country faces – from tackling climate change to migration policy to levelling up. Luke joined More in Common from policy and research agency Public First, where he had a particular focus on public opinion research in the Midlands and North of England. Prior to that he worked in the Education sector as Director of the New Schools Network, Director of Strategy at Ofsted, and Special Adviser to the Education Secretary. He is a regular media commentator and has contributed to publications and broadcasts including The Times, The Spectator, The Guardian, and BBC Radio 4.
